Compliments to Cold Storage, Junction 10 & Pizza Hut Singapore

Just felt like I should take some time and appreciate the people from these companies who actually listened to feedback and took action.

Pizza-Hut

What happened was that I wanted to order through the iPhone but wasn't able to because the old ordering system was based on flash. Not only that, it was old, looked old and was frankly, gave a sup-par ordering experience.

About a month later, I was pleasently surprised when I was greeted with a completely overhauled site that was much better looking and easier to use. iOS friendly as well!

Junction 10

A bit of a tale this one….so the old Ten Mile Junction at 1 Woodlands Road got a much needed redesign, becoming a proper shopping centre as opposed to a street market with air-con.

With the MRT Downdown line under construction, people walking towards Junction 10 from across the road had to be redirected, which meant that instead of entering from the front entrance, the most direct way of entering the building would be through a smaller entrance in the middle.

The problem was there was a patch of greenery from the temporary road crossing to that entrance. Naturally, people took the shortest path, which meant trampling on flowers and designer grass that was being grown. Well, someone thought that putting a 'danger' sign was going to help. That didn't work. Obviously, there was no danger in the immediate vincinity and it was either that short path or a long walk around to the front of the entrace

So I was like, what the heck, rather than waste the time, money and effort to replant that area and chasing people away, why not just build a proper path there? So I sent a rather sarcastic email and guess what? 2 weeks later, a solid, concrete path was built.

Cold Storage

I believe most of you have noticed that recently NTUC become much more open to the use of credit cards. On top of that, small purchases below a certain amount did not require you to sign the payment slip. I thought that was pretty convenient.

I sent an email and within a month, cold storage started doing the same thing.

What I found curious though, is that the other supermarkets under cold storage (like giant and shop'n'safe) have yet to implement the same practice. Hopefully, they will soon follow suit.

Good job guys.
