“Kinetic Rain” Now, at Changi Airport Terminal 1

There's a new art installation at Terminal 1 that's going to be awesome!

When I first saw it (somewhere, can't remember), I thought it was just a cool static display of metallic raindrops.

But…it moves!

Check it out:

If you're old enough, you'd remember the beautiful strings with water flowing down it as the centrepiece in the old check-in hall.

I thought that this was a fantastic way to combine the nostalgic and the new, keeping the strings with the flowing water as raindrops but bringing them into the modern world and putting it altogether as a an energetic art form, like a dance.

Turns out that was their inspiration as well!

Not seen it in person yet, but looking forward to it!
